Practicing for months in an AI app and still being a beat too slow in front of a real person is a common experience. It is easy to blame your level, but the cause usually sits elsewhere. An AI waits forever. It does not interrupt, it shows no face, and it speaks in clean full sentences. So during practice there is always time to assemble a sentence. A conversation with a person, by contrast, turns over in one or two seconds, and the other side is fast, overlapping, and unfinished. What the AI trained is the ability to build sentences; what a person demands is the speed to retrieve sentences you already have. These are two different abilities, and the second one only grows where the unexpected keeps happening.
