Say what you see in English — picture description practice

Someone shows you a photo and asks "What can you see?" The words come to mind, but the sentences do not. That happens because there is no order between seeing and speaking yet. Whether it is a picture-description question in a speaking test or a travel photo you are showing a friend, what you need is not difficult vocabulary but a simple order. First say where it is (This is a park…), then who is there (There are two children…), then what they are doing (They are playing…), and finally add one sentence about how it feels (It looks like a sunny day…). For twenty-six years, since 2000, Huston has taught English through English with no Korean in class, showing meaning through pictures. In each 25-minute 1:1 lesson, you look at a new picture, describe it in the same order, and add one more sentence each time. Everyone grows at a different pace, and we cannot promise results, but practice turning what you see into English can start today.
